The next big CS2 tournament is BLAST Premier Open Porto 2026, starting on August 26, 2026 and running through September 6. The event brings 16 teams together for a $1.1 million prize pool, with Spirit, Falcons, Vitality, NAVI, MOUZ, FURIA, G2 and several other top teams already confirmed.
There is still CS2 happening before then. The Esports World Cup 2026 is currently live in Paris and runs until August 23, with the playoffs beginning after the group stage. So if you are looking for the next tournament that has not started yet, BLAST Open Porto is the answer.

BLAST Open Porto Is the Next Big CS2 Tournament
BLAST Open Porto is the one to watch next.
The tournament begins on August 26 with 16 teams competing for $1.1 million. The current field includes Spirit, Falcons, Vitality, NAVI, MOUZ, FURIA, Legacy, Aurora, G2, paiN, FUT, 9z, Inner Circle, M80, DENDELE and Lynn Vision.
That is a seriously strong field, especially with several teams coming directly out of the Esports World Cup.
It also gives us another chance to see whether MOUZ can keep their momentum after they beat Spirit to win BLAST Bounty Season 2.

Teams to Watch at BLAST Open Porto
Vitality, Spirit, Falcons and MOUZ are the obvious names near the top of the list, but this field is deep enough that there should be some real upset potential.
Spirit still have donk and sh1ro. Falcons have m0NESY, NiKo and kyousuke. Vitality remain stacked around ZywOo, while MOUZ come in with confidence after finally getting a trophy on the board at BLAST Bounty Season 2.

FURIA, G2 and NAVI should not be ignored either. In a 16 team event, one good run can completely change the bracket.
What Comes After BLAST Open Porto?
The schedule does not slow down much after Porto.
FISSURE Playground 3 begins just two days later on September 8 in Suzhou, China, with 16 teams and a $1 million prize pool. StarLadder StarSeries Fall follows later in September.
October gets even busier. ESL Pro League Season 24 runs from October 3 to 11 in Katowice, followed by the $1 million Thunderpick World Championship and then PGL Masters Bucharest.
November is where things really start building toward the final Major of the year.
There is IEM Beijing, BLAST Rivals Hong Kong and the Esports Nations Cup 2026 before attention shifts completely toward Singapore.
When Is the Next CS2 Major?
The next CS2 Major is PGL Major Singapore 2026.
Competition begins on November 24, with Stage 1 followed by Stage 2 and then the final stage running from December 3 to December 13 in Singapore. The listed prize pool is $1.25 million.
It will be the second Major of 2026 after the IEM Cologne Major.

Match times and brackets will become more important as we get closer to August 26, especially once teams finish their runs at EWC.

What Is the Next CS2 Tournament?
As of August 17, 2026, the Esports World Cup is still underway in Paris. After EWC ends on August 23, the next major international CS2 event is BLAST Premier Open Porto 2026, beginning on August 26.
That means there are only three days between the end of EWC and the start of the next major event.
After Porto, the 2026 calendar moves through FISSURE, ESL Pro League, PGL, IEM, BLAST Rivals and the Esports Nations Cup before finishing with the PGL Major Singapore 2026 in December.

CS2 tournament schedules always feel a bit fluid this far out, especially since Valve tends to confirm Major dates later while organizers like ESL or BLAST drop tentative calendars first.
