CS2 Weekly Drop Chances (2026): What Can You Actually Get?

CS2 weekly drop chances depend on the reward you mean. Prime players unlock one Weekly Care Package after their first Profile Rank increase of the reward week. Normally, you choose two of four offers. A valuable skin, a particular case or a Chicken Egg is not guaranteed, and Valve has not published a complete current probability table for every weekly reward. CSGO Database
How Do CS2 Weekly Drop Chances Work?
The Weekly Care Package is earned through Profile XP. Your Competitive rank and Premier Rating do not determine whether you receive it.
You need CS2 Prime Status and a qualifying weekly Profile Rank increase. Once you claim the package, another level-up in the same reward week will not unlock a second one.
Community databases describe the normal offer layout as a case or terminal, a weapon skin and additional reward options. That does not mean each option has an equal chance of appearing. CSGO Database

Which Cases Can Drop in CS2 Right Now?
As checked on October 13, 2026, current community drop-pool listings identify these five containers:

This is the available container pool, not a promise that each has a 20% drop chance. Terminals also work differently from standard cases

Do Rare Cases Still Drop in 2026?
Current community trackers list the old rare case pool as inactive. Older guides describing an approximately 1% chance of receiving a discontinued case should not be treated as current odds.

Does Playing More Improve Your Weekly Drop?
Playing more helps you earn the XP needed to unlock your package. There is no documented mechanic that improves its item odds because you played extra matches.

What Are the Chances of Getting a Chicken Egg?
Valve has not published an official Chicken Egg drop percentage. Eggs and feed can appear as weekly rewards, but neither is guaranteed.
Selecting an egg or feed uses both weekly reward selections. They currently cannot be sold or traded, so consider whether you want the pet reward before choosing it.

Which Weekly Rewards Should You Choose?
If market value is your priority, compare the actual offers before claiming them. A case is not automatically worth more than a weapon skin.

Can You Get Weekly Drops Without Prime?
No. Steam Support confirms that Prime Status is required for weekly care packages. Prime Status and Free to Play
Why Didn’t I Get a Drop After a Match?
Finishing a match is not enough. Check that you have Prime, gained a Profile Rank during the current reward week and have not already claimed that week’s package. Also check Store → Home for an unclaimed reward. CSGO Database
